Unfreeze an Animal Speed Versus Melt Worksheet
Path deaths buy +20 Speed. Pit deaths buy 2x Melt. Empty plots buy neither.
Unfreeze an Animal sells two permanent game passes. That is the entire current list: +20 Speed at 149 Robux and 2x Melt Speed at 199 Robux, both created around 4 September 2026. Official text is short on purpose. Speed: “Walk 20 studs/s faster. Permanent.” Melt: “All your frozen animals thaw twice as fast. Permanent.” This page is the decision worksheet. The game pass tier list ranks the same products. Here you name the death you keep taking, then you spend — or you close the shop.
If you have not finished a single thaw, stop. The beginner walkthrough and how to unfreeze are free. A pass on zero printers is a placebo.
Step 1 — name the death
After three losses, label each one path or pit.
- Path death. You never parked the ice. Someone bumped the sphere on grass, on a slope, or across a neighbour’s lawn. You lost contact. The block changed owners in transit.
- Pit death. You parked it. The E Unfreeze prompt was up. Someone walked onto your campfire and took the dripping animal before the melt finished.
If you cannot tell the difference, you are not ready to spend Robux. Watch one more session with controls in the other tab so you are not dropping the push because of the camera.
Most people mislabel. A dragon that rolled off the ring because you chased a stealer two plots away is still a pit death: you left the fire. A wolf you never got off the slope is a path death even if you later saw it thawing on someone else’s pit. The location of the funeral does not name the mistake.
Step 2 — 149 versus 199
Buy +20 Speed (149) when path deaths win the count. Speed shortens wild walks, returns to the pit, and steal intercepts. It also makes bad steers worse: a sphere dumped into a neighbour arrives 20 extra studs per second. Learn default movement first. Then pay to amplify it.
Buy 2x Melt Speed (199) when pit deaths win the count. Melt halves the window in which a walk-in gets a vote. Solo players on sweaty six-player servers feel this immediately. It does nothing for ice you have not started thawing. Faster drip on an empty ring is still an empty ring.
If the count is tied, buy melt. A finished animal prints and funds future speed. A fast empty walk prints nothing. That is also the factory logic on make money fast.
There is no official cash-multiplier pass on the universe store. Anyone selling “infinite money” outside Roblox is not selling a Thaw Labs product. Stick to the in-experience shop and the links hub.
Step 3 — farmer, stealer, or duo
Playstyle changes the same two SKUs.
Farmer
You want printers that survive. Read farmer and protect your base. Farmers die at the pit more than on the path once they understand cow routes. Default buy: 2x Melt Speed. Speed is second, and only so you can return to the fire, not so you can roam farther from it. Speed that only runs outward is how farmers get robbed.
Skip melt if you already play with a dedicated sitter. A body on the ring is free melt insurance.
Stealer
You want intercepts and you want to keep what you took. Read stealer and how to steal. Stealers die on the path first (missed bump, long chase) and at the pit second (owner returns during your slow melt). Default first buy: +20 Speed. Second buy: melt, because a stolen dragon on a slow thaw is a flashing sign.
Skip speed if you already arrive in time and then lose the E channel. That is a melt problem wearing a stealer costume.
Duo
Team play splits the shop. Runner buys speed. Sitter can skip melt longer because presence is the pass. If you both roam, you are not a duo; you are two solos sharing a party chat. Buy melt for the person who actually stands on the stone ring. Buy speed for the person who actually leaves it.
Three-stacks on a six-player server can delay both purchases. You are already the balance problem. Spend after you know you will keep playing, not to stomp one lobby.
Step 4 — neither, yet
Stay out of the store when:
- You still have no owned animals
- You cannot say path versus pit out loud
- You are one session into the game and still learning the E prompt
- You expected codes to pay for the pass — codes are unverified as of this check, and even a live string dumps cash, not Robux
Permanent is a feature if you will keep pushing ice. It is a waste if you wanted a one-evening boost. There is no timed potion on the current list.
After you buy
Rejoin a public six-player server. Passes are account-bound; empty private plots will not teach you whether the spend worked. Then run the same hunt you kept failing.
- Speed buyers: take one extra intercept, then return. If you only run farther, you bought a longer funeral.
- Melt buyers: start E the instant the sphere hits the ring and stay in range. If you still walk off to “scare” people, you bought a shorter timer you refuse to use.
Check the changelog after any Roblox “updated” stamp. A studio bump can change how thaw feels even if the shop text stays the same. Re-test path and pit on a current server before you tell a friend the pass is mandatory.
One-sentence sheet
Path deaths → 149 Speed. Pit deaths → 199 Melt. No printers → play. Farmer → melt, unless a sitter. Stealer → speed, then melt. Duo → speed on the runner, melt only if the ring is empty. Fake VIP → close the browser, open scripts safety if the “pass” was a file.
That is the whole worksheet. Two products. One honest label for how you died. Buy the bottleneck, then go finish a cow.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
Which pass should I buy first in Unfreeze an Animal?
2x Melt Speed if you lose animals at the fire. +20 Speed if you lose them on the walk. Neither if you still have no printers.
How much do the passes cost?
+20 Speed is 149 Robux. 2x Melt Speed is 199 Robux. Both are permanent and listed around 4 September 2026.
Does a duo need 2x Melt Speed?
Not first. A fire sitter is free melt insurance. Buy speed for the runner. See team play.
Is there a cash multiplier or VIP pass?
Not on the current universe store. Do not buy third-party fakes. Official products are only speed and melt.
Do codes replace a game pass?
No. Codes, when they exist, are free cash or buffs on the codes hub. Passes are Robux permanents.
